a field of blue

This time of year in Texas is officially known as

Bluebonnet Season.

As soon as those little blue buds start popping open, you will see

photographers and momtographers (and dadtographers, too!)

dragging their kids to the nearest bluebonnet field.

Most of my photog friends have special bluebonnet mini-sessions...

This year, I really wanted  planned on doing some.

For some reason,

I just couldn't get my act together.

Could have something to do with an upcoming wedding...

that's what I'm blaming it on :)

Anywho...

I did borrow a supermodel sweet girl

so I could at least document the fact that we had

BLUEBONNETS.

(and yes, i'm pretty sure it should be all caps... they are the state flower!)

Isn't she completely cute? And it was sooooo nice

of her dad to drive his Harley over so we could

use it for a prop.

I mean, what's a photo session without

a great prop?
